90 DAY BIBLE CHALLENGE

MY FRIEND KYLE SENT ME THIS 90 DAY BIBLE CHALLENGE AND I HAVE ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE. I THINK IT WILL BE GREAT FOR US ALL TO DO THIS TOGEHER. SO I HOPE YOU ALL WILL JOIN ME AND THE OTHER WHO HAVE DECIDED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS......

Have you realized as believer's we only read the most popular books or our favorite books in the Bible and we neglect the others? How can we fully understand what the Lord is saying when we only listen or read of half or some of what he's saying to us? Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. If that's the case, what happens when you gain knowledge? Gen 1:2 says there was darkness on the face of the earth. This is not talking about literal light and darkness. A part of the Hebrew breakdown for Darkness is "Ignorance", and for Light is "Knowledge". Ignorance is broken down to become, one not knowing its purpose of existence. Gen 1:2 Everything was in it's wrong place, nothing was where is was supposed to be. Everything was ignorant to it's purpose. What did God do? He sent Light(knowledge) by his word, and the water came off the dry ground, the trees went to it's rightful place, so on and so forth. Jesus is the "Light" of the world. Satan is the prince of "Darkness". Where's there's darkness/ignorance in our lives, Satan has a field day. The words tells us to walk as children of the "LIGHT/KNOWLEDGE". This is the last day of your Darkness/Ignorance, but the beginning of you becoming children of LIGHT/KNOWLEDGE. I pray you will find your purpose during this challenge. Where purpose is unknown abuse in inevitable. Welcome to the 90 day challenge. Here my friend is your guideline to the "LIGHT".......

Amen!!!!!!!
The challenge has given me a new hunger for God's Word! I can't wait to read my 12 or 13 chapters when I wake up in the morning! It's crazy to think that in 5 days, we'll have already read the entire first book of the Bible! I was just looking at a normal reading schedule for reading the Bible through in a year and it would take 25 days usually to read as much as we'll read in 5! Awesome! Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is he who READS and those who HEAR the words of this prophecy, and KEEP those things which are written in it; for the time is near. I fully believe God is so honored that we are spending hours in His Word every day and I know that you will never regret any of the time you give or sleep you lose. It's really important to remember, however, that just reading it isn't enough - there MUST be application. So, don't just read what it says, DO WHAT IT SAYS!
